The Golden Technologies Buzzaround CarryOn GB120 folding mobility scooter now offers two airline-friendly lithium-ion battery options for flexible travel and range needs.
Both batteries are airline-friendly (airline-compliant for carry-on (check your carrier)), removable, lightweight, and designed specifically for the GB120 model. They include a built-in charging port for easy recharging with your existing charger and typically come with a fireproof travel bag for safe transport on flights or everyday use.
Option 1: Short-Range Airline-Friendly Battery
- Capacity: 6.5 Ah (approximately 156 Wh)
- Estimated Range: Up to about 7–7.8 miles per charge
- Best For: Frequent air travel where minimizing weight and size is key, or shorter outings
- Ideal as a compact, compliant replacement or spare for maximum portability
Option 2: Long-Range Airline-Friendly Battery
- Capacity: 12 Ah (or 12.5 Ah in some listings; approximately 300 Wh)
- Estimated Range: Up to about 14 miles per charge (or up to 22 miles combined when using both the 12.5 Ah main battery and the free/spare 6.5 Ah battery on newer models)
- Best For: Extended daily use, longer trips, or when you want more runtime without sacrificing airline approval
- This upgraded option is roughly double the size/capacity of the original 6.5 Ah battery while remaining under common airline watt-hour limits
