It's a ProCare Heavy-Duty Electric. Full-body lifts handle users who can't bear weight at all, lifting them via a sling from one surface to another (bed to chair, chair to commode).
Yes — a mesh full-body sling with head support is included with this lift. The ideal sling also depends on the user's weight, mobility level, and the transfers being performed, so call (803) 926-1493 if you'd like help choosing an additional or replacement sling.
Most patient lift batteries deliver 50-100 lift cycles per full charge. Charge the lift overnight when not in use, or on a wall charger between transfers. A full charge from empty takes 4-8 hours. Plan to replace the battery every 2-3 years of daily use.
Patient lifts are sometimes covered by Medicare Part B as Durable Medical Equipment when prescribed for use at home. Coverage depends on your specific plan and a doctor's prescription documenting medical necessity. We don't bill Medicare directly — we sell to consumers and authorized DME providers; check with your provider before ordering.
