Most lift chairs are 2-position or 3-position, meaning they stop at just a few fixed presets. The PR764 uses five independent motors that control the head, lumbar, back, seat tilt, and footrest separately, so you can stop the recline at any angle you like — including the Twilight position, which raises your feet above heart level for a near-flat, zero-gravity-style layout. Everything is driven by the programmable AutoDrive hand control, which lets you save favorite positions for reading, TV, or a nap, and includes a USB port to charge your phone.

Heat and massage aren't included as standard, but you can add them as a paid upgrade that ships pre-installed in the chair. Three options are available: Deluxe Heat & Vibrating Massage, HeatWave Far-Infrared Heat Therapy, and Nirvana Swedish Air Massage with Far-Infrared Heat. You'd select your choice in the Add-Ons panel above the buy button. Keep in mind that any wellness upgrade can add up to 30–45 days to the build time.

Yes. The PR764 ships with a lithium-ion battery backup already installed, so if the power goes out while you're reclined, the chair can return to the upright position so you can get up safely. The rest of the time it plugs into any standard 110V household outlet.

Your chair ships free with curbside LTL freight anywhere in the continental United States. Standard Tucker fabrics typically build and ship in 3–7 business days and arrive within about 10–14 business days (add 30–45 days for a fabric or wellness upgrade). Curbside drops the carton at your driveway or curb; you can upgrade to Inside Delivery, or to White Glove service, which includes uncrating, setup, a demo of the lift mechanism and AutoDrive control, and packaging removal — a good choice for first-time buyers. Please note that lift chairs are non-returnable once shipped, so confirm your size, fabric, and any upgrades before ordering. The chair is backed by Golden's warranty, with lifetime coverage on the frame and lift/recline mechanism, 3 years on electronics, and 1 year on electrical labor.
