The PR449 Titan has a 400 lb weight capacity. It comes in a single Medium frame sized for users roughly 5'4" to 5'10", with a 20.5" seat width and 21" seat depth; overall it measures 38.5" wide and 46" tall. This is an infinite-position lift recliner, not a basic 2- or 3-position chair. Five independent motors control the head, lumbar, back, seat tilt, and footrest separately, so you can stop the recline at any angle you like — including the Twilight position, which raises your legs above heart level. Everything runs through Golden's programmable AutoDrive hand control, which lets you save favorite positions (reading, TV, nap, lift) and includes a USB port to charge your phone. Note that built-in heat and massage are not part of this model's standard configuration.

Yes. The PR449 includes a built-in lithium-ion battery backup. If the power fails while you're reclined, the backup lets the chair return to the upright, seated position so you can get out of it safely. It's designed for that safe-return function rather than full operation, so plan to replace the battery periodically as described in the owner's manual.

Golden Technologies backs the PR449 with a lifetime warranty on the frame, welds, and the lift-and-recline mechanism for the original purchaser. Electronics and the hand control are covered for 3 years (the hand control's USB port for 2 years), mechanical labor for 3 years, electrical labor for 1 year, and standard upholstery for 1 year, with cosmetic and wear items covered for 30 days. The PR449 ships free by curbside LTL freight anywhere in the continental U.S. Because it's built to order in your chosen fabric, most orders ship in 3-7 business days and arrive within about 10-14 business days. You can upgrade to Inside Delivery, where the carrier brings the carton across your threshold, or to White Glove service, which adds uncrating, setup, a demo of the lift mechanism and AutoDrive control, and packaging removal — a good option for first-time lift-chair buyers. Please note that lift chairs are non-returnable once shipped, so confirm your size, fabric, and options before ordering.
